We arrived at the airport around 7-ish their time..and we sat for about 3 and a half hours of bus ride to the port.We stayed in the junk(some sort of boat)it was fun..really nice weather.Thank God..The news scared the shit out of us..but it was great..Scenery was nice..really beautiful..on the junk there was a deck..very nice to sit up there and watch the mountains and chill..really relaxing..

We settled in and they served us great great seafood..really good..then we rest for awhile and we set of to a cave..really nice cave..a bit of climbing my leg hurt a little at that time..and i nearly fell a few times..oh well now i'm here :)..on the way back to the junk..we bought a basket of prawns for $ 12.

Then we went to this tiny winy biny beach...me and my dad went and take pictures of the sun setting on a wobbly bridge..it wasn't fun..maybe that's why i still feel like i'm on the boat..

Then back to the junk and we set out to our 'parking lot'..Had dinner..seafood again+ out prawns..then my mum and my aunties started playing cards..while i was playing with the camera with my dad..when he went to sleep i just sat there and read my book..it was a nice feeling till a boat came to refill water..it was dark and their motor was running and the to guys were talking..it just reminded me of those thai horror movies..freakky..

DAY 2

We sat a sampan to a little area..then we had lunch..then back to the city...another 3 and a half hours.

We went to Halong Market..my mother and aunties bought stuff..then we started the journey back to hanoi town.

Back in the city we were stuck in the jam
for a bout 1 hour +..then we had dinner then to the hotel and checked in..after that we walked to the water puppet theater ..after the water puppet.we went to the night market near our hotel..this is where my mum and my aunties shop the most..SHOP SHOP SHOP!!!..

After that shopping at the shops near by..my mummy bought cotton table cloths and stuff...then another long bus ride...back in town..we had a buffet dinner

after that we went back to the hotel..rest for awhile and back to shopping..my mummy and aunties bought more stuff again of course..then back to the hotel..chit chat till bout 1 their time..then went to bed

DAY 4

Started of the day with Phở (Vietnamese noodles)..when i just step foot into the shop..i felt like puking..after awhile..it got okay..and when the food came..it was gone..it was awesome...the 9 of us ate 11 bowls..it was expensive though..the whole bill cost $20.

After that we went to the turtle temple..there's a legend about a turtle with a sword in that lake..

after that we went to a church..really nice stained glass..pretty pretty ones :)..then we went jalan-jalan and my auntie bought lanterns..

then we went to this old university..where each gate you enter..the smarter you are...there's this tomb where the y carve your name there if you became a doctor..the tomb is sat on a turtle..there's a legend a bout the great turtle..

Then we went to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum..sadly it was close..they close on Mondays and Fridays..Ho Chi Minh was a heavy smoker and single..

then we went to the one pillar pagoda..there's a tale about the empero
r had a dream about this pagoda and a girl..and then they fell in love and had a son..so the emperor ordered his men to build this pagoda..and his dream came truee..so people usually visit this pagoda for fertility help..

Then it was time to say good bye..we left for the airport..another hour ride..The immigration officer didn't think i was the girl in the passport..he stared at me then back to the passport..and then back at me..and then he smiled..
